Our Story
In 2021, Nick and Quin moved into the building where Sarah, Penny, and Lenny lived. The apartment had a dedicated play area for dogs, where Quin and Lenny became friends. Quin was a shy dog, and Sarah was literally the first non-Nick person she'd ever asked for pets from. From Nick's point of view, this was a perfect ice breaker to chat with someone beautiful. As the months passed, Sarah & Nick fell into regular conversation, usually as the only dog owners going outside so late on weeknights. One of those nights, Nick brought Sarah some homemade ice cream with his cell phone marked on the container. Sarah texted him, vaulting their relationship from prologue to fairy tale.
You could say the relationship became "official official" after Nick gave Sarah a Winnie The Pooh card with "Will you be my girlfriend?" scrawled inside. By the end of 2023, Sarah, Nick and the three pets all lived together.
This past October, Nick hosted a dinner party with some close friends. The meal was inspired by the couple's recent vacation in Portugal, and included homemade ice cream for dessert. Sarah's was served in a container with Nick's phone number and, this time, a proposal.
